We give a 10-minute buffer before it goes into your session time. We asked that you try to make it on time for your appointment. A lot of times we are fully booked for the day, so if you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment you will be asked to reschedule.

No, additional cost to scan multiples. 

Unfortunately, we will not be able to determine if we can obtain clear images of your baby's face until the time of the ultrasound. Babies all have different personalities and sleep at different times. Pay close attention when your baby is active. Most people say "My baby is active at midnight!" We are not open quite that late. But we do have late evening appointments, so choose a later appointment. 

We strive to get the best images for everyone! Sometimes if the baby is turned around towards the mother''s spine, or hiding against the placenta, we are unable to obtain the baby's face. We will do everything we can to get the baby to move. If we are unable to get imaging we will let you come back for FREE. 

Below I will provide you with some tips and tricks to get clear imaging. 

NO,  at Lavender Love 3D, LLC  our ELECTIVE ultrasounds are NOT diagnostic. No measurements will be taken and we will not approximate the baby's weight. If you have concerns please reach out to your OBGYN. 

We have some "suggestive timeframes" but it does come down to personal choice. Some parents are eager to see the baby and come often. 

2D imaging 9 - 13 weeks (3d/4d not included) This is the basic ultrasound you get at the doctor's office. 

Gender Reveal: 14-22 weeks 

Twins: the best time to see both babies clearly is between 13-20 weeks.

3D/4D/ HD Live imaging: the best time to capture detailed images of the face is between 28-30 weeks. 

Many women come in 3- 4 times during their pregnancy or some come every other week. They just want to watch the baby grow.

Yes, clear imaging can be obtained with an anterior placenta. 

Many factors play into having clear imaging. HYDRATION is so IMPORTANT when you have an anterior placenta. So make sure you are well hydrated for the ultrasound.

Yes. We are open 7 days a week morning and evenings. If you don't see a day and time you wish for please reach out to us at 704.224.5437 and we will do our best to accommodate your preferred day and time.

No. Sine our ultrasounds are elective and non-diagnostic, a full bladder is not required. 

To capture the correct angle of the baby in HD Live and 4D viewing, the ultrasound session needs to start in 2D. To get a clear shot of the face the idle position is for the baby to be in a profile view position (so side view of the baby).

Research in the last 50 years shows that ultrasound scanning causes no harm to your developing baby.  * Your physician is always the best source of information for any health concern.*

Yes! At our current location, we can fit a total of 6 people comfortably. You will also receive keepsakes that you can share with your family and friends after your appointment.

We also have Live Stream for additional cost.

No. Unfortunately, insurance reimbursement is not provided for elective ultrasounds. We accept, Cash, Vagaro pay later, AfterPay, Venmo, Cashapp, Visa.
