This is not something that you can cram in the night before your appointment.
Drinking an abundant amount of water the day of/ the day before your ultrasound will not improve the quality of the images. To ensure clear photos, you must increase your water intake DAILY for at the very minimum- an ENTIRE week. (Make sure to always check with your OBGYN if you have any concerns or want to know how much water you should be drinking).
In this example, there's very little fluid between the baby's face &the amniotic sac, resulting in a"blurry" image.
*other factors can cause images to look like this: placenta placement, and baby's position.*
In this example, there's lots of fluid in front of the baby's face, producing a nice, clear ultrasound image of the baby.
